Louisiana Licensing Courses

BIII #101 - Louisiana License Exam Prep School

This BIII Louisiana License Exam Training Course #101 is an intensive 90+ hour learning experience that will teach you Basic Home Inspection and is designed specifically for you to pass the required Louisiana Licensing Examination.  The BIII Training Manuals will provide the necessary knowledge and materials on the various home systems and outline the Inspector’s responsibilities regarding their evaluations.  The BIII Training Manuals and lectures are supplemented by complete printed state and national inspection standards and guidelines, audio and visual programs highlighting construction techniques and inspection procedures, as well as numerous illustrations depicting common inspection requirements and concerns.

You Must Pass the Louisiana License Home Inspector Examination!

The BIII #101 course is intended to provide necessary preparation for your passing the Exam required by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors (LSBHI) THE FIRST TIME!  Inspectors who have taken the BIII #101 Training Course have indicated that the course provided the necessary study material for passing the Exam and we are confident that you will also find that this course will aid you in passing the required Exam.  If you should somehow fail to pass the Exam, BIII will allow you continue to train at no charge until you do pass!  Statistics show that simple bare minimum reading/lecture courses do not usually provide sufficient education for the typical student to pass this very difficult test the first time, if ever!  You must wait 30 days and pay $225.00 each time you have to re-take this licensing exam.  The national pass/fail ratio is about 50/50.  However, due to our enhanced, extensive, and detailed training program, over 95% of BIII students pass this test the first time; no other training school compares!

State Approved Program

The BIII #101 License Exam Training Course has been approved by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors (LSBHI) for compliance with their 90 hour minimum classroom training requirement. This course is also recognized for introductory educational requirements or continuing education programs by various state Home Inspector licensing or registration programs and associations across the United States! **Note that correspondence training courses are NOT approved by LSBHI.

Proven Education Program

A majority of the currently Louisiana licensed home inspectors are graduates of BIII; no other home inspection training school even comes close!  The BIII #101 curriculum is uniquely tailored to allow students statewide to attend and complete all necessary classroom training at your own time, speed and learning ability and according to your own schedule!  Additionally, BIII instructors are always available at any time for your questions or concerns, even after you graduate!  BIII (and no other inspection training school) offers unlimited free advisory services to its graduates for life!  Student references will be furnished upon request.

Liability Management Recognition

The BIII #101 Louisiana License Exam Training Course has also been recognized as an effective liability management tool by leading suppliers of Home Inspection Professional Liability (E&O) Insurance, some of which require completion of the BIII #101 Training Course content as a prerequisite for obtaining E&O insurance coverage (and discounts) through their programs.  BIII tracks all current E&O insurance companies to obtain your best rates!

BIII #102 - Advanced and Business Training

In addition to license exam training, you can also obtain optional Advanced Training in home inspection with additional text books, reporting systems, business operations, specialized inspections, marketing, risk management, insurance programs, additional profit opportunities, etc. to completely round out your necessary education!  No other state approved training school offers our extensive breadth and depth in these topics!  BIII #102 graduates also qualify for lifetime free continuing education benefits at BIII!

BIII #103 - Thirty Hour Field Training State Requirement

Of the 30 hours of state required student field training, 21 hours is dedicated to direct hands-on, operational, laboratory type inspection training with the remaining 9 hours dedicated to actual “live” on-site inspection observations and experience, with 1˝ hours of credit being given for each of six full “live” inspections.  Both “hands-on” and “live” instruction can only be obtained from current LSBHI approved field trainers, such as ours at BIII.  The market cost of this required field training portion can range up to $1,500 or more!  However, BIII #101 graduates only enjoy a discounted fee for the entire Field Training Program, another huge savings!
